Pre-Christmas Get-together

In November 2005, Jenny, Deenie, Chris and myself met for lunch at Harrington's in Shelburne. That is where Jenny "snapped" this memorable photo of Chris, Deenie and I. Not in our worst nightmares could we have imagined that just a few weeks later, Jenny would be fighting for her life in a critical care unit. Jenny won that fight thanks to her own terrier determination, the love and support of friends who just would not "give up" on her and the outstanding medical team who cared for her.
Thus it was only fitting that a year later, we should celebrate with another pre-Christmas get-together. This time, Jenny, Deenie, Jocelyne and myself all met for breakfast at Libby's Diner in Colchester. Danny came along for the ride and enjoyed seeing "mom" as well as getting his portion of a spinach and cheese omelette.
It is unlikely that Jenny will get round to doing an email Christmas greeting so these photos from our get-together will have to suffice but having Jenny among us is itself a very special Christmas Blessing.

"..and Colin thinks HE's debonair!
He's got a lot to learn"

"Was that a squirrel?
Where'd he go?
"

"Not just debonair but distinguished as well - now where's my omelette!"
